Must the bolt holes on the expansion joint triangle flange be aligned?

The bolt holes on the expansion joint triangle flanges generally need to be aligned.

Because the bolt hole alignment can ensure the tightness and uniform stress of flange connection. If bolts are inserted through the bolt holes on the flanges to connect expansion joints and other components during pipe system installation, it is difficult to install bolts if the bolt holes are not aligned. Forced installation may damage the flanges and bolts. Moreover, in the working process, the unaligned bolt holes will cause uneven force of the expansion joint, which may cause leakage and affect the normal operation and safety of the pipeline system.
