Rubber extruder is mainly classified in the following ways:
- By the number of screws:
1. Single-screw extruder: Widely used, suitable for the production of conventional rubber products.
2. Twin-screw extruder: It has a good mixing effect and is often used in high-filling or complex formula processing.
- According to the screw structure:
1. Conventional screw extruder: Simple structure, suitable for general processes.
2. New type screw extruder (such as pin type screw extruder ) : Enhance the efficiency of mixing and plasticizing.
- By purpose:
1. Extrusion type extruder: Used for continuous molding of rubber hoses, belts, etc.
2. Mixing type extruder: It focuses on the uniformity of the mixing of rubber and compounding agents.
- By heating method:
1. Hot feed extruder: The rubber compound needs to be preheated and is suitable for traditional processes.
2. Cold feed extruder: Directly processes normal-temperature rubber compounds, energy-saving and highly efficient.
