What are the reasons for the uneven temperature of the roller?

There are several reasons for the uneven temperature of the roller.

The first is the heating or cooling system. If the mixer uses a heating device to control the temperature of the roll, such as steam heating or electric heating, the heating pipe is blocked, the heating element is damaged, or the temperature control system is faulty, which may cause the local temperature of the roll to be too high or too low. Similarly, when the cooling system is used to adjust the temperature, the blockage of the cooling water pipeline and the uneven flow of the coolant will also cause the temperature to be uneven.

Secondly, the structure and material factors of the roller itself. If the material of the roller has poor thermal conductivity, the heat transfer inside the roller will be hindered, and the temperature difference is easy to occur. In addition, the roller may be worn after long-term use, resulting in uneven wall thickness, so that during the heating or cooling process, the heat exchange efficiency of different wall thickness parts is different, resulting in uneven temperature.

There is also the impact of the work environment. If there is a large difference in environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and ventilation conditions in the workshop, for example, the temperature of the roller on one side near the heat source or the vent may be affected, forming a temperature difference with the other side. And in the mixing process, the distribution of rubber on the roller is not uniform, which will also make the heat exchange situation of different parts of the roller different, resulting in differences in temperature.
